Curriculum Vitae

Rachel Marsden is an emerging photo-media artist currently living between Brisbane and Berlin. She began photographing seriously in 2002 when she completed a training program in art and technology.  She immediately fell in love with the darkroom and went on to further her studies with both a Diploma and a Bachelor of Photography (majoring in Photographic Art Practice).  Until 2009 she worked for one of Australia's top wedding photography studio's before deciding to pursue her art practice full time.  Her work explores themes such as impermanence, change, loss and the cycles of nature.
